Times been changing and I am for one who is different from my peers always. I am a commerce graduate from Delhi and was always against the concept of fixed or arranged marriages.
Sites like Shaadi.com are just another way for parents to fix matches but without the middleman. I for one wanted to choose my partner myself (more to spend time, date, and understand her) but the culture here is not really conductive to that, especially for a girl.
Then I bumped into QuackQuack.in, which for one is a good answer to my dilemma in my current situation. I wouldn’t say that it is the best or only option for online dating because I am not really into meeting a girl of my dreams virtually. But the site has been really vocal and open about its different security measures taken to see that the surfing experience on the site is smooth.
I took up the premium membership and from then on I have been chatting regularly with 1-2 females on and off. Though there are some spammed profiles there, but in due course it looks like they remove them. So, overall out of the females I met on quack quack online, I found 70% were genuine, best part being they were from Delhi / Noida side.
Some cons - site gets slow sometime, I had issues with uploading my pic.
Some pros - Certainly genuine profiles, economical
Overall, I would rate 7.5 / 10.
