Dear Friends,
I want to tell you that I have been approached thrice in my life by some so called friends who tried to lure me into this non sense. I never trusted them & by god’s grace & by the research I did, I was saved & did not gave a damn to these people.
1st incident: 1 day as usual I went to park for morning walk. There I met an uncle.Since I am very kind & caring, I generally get approached by people who want to take advantage of my humble nature. This uncle began motivating me & saying I must watch a movie " the secret".This man was listening to my conversations about career with some of my friends.
He acted like some great spiritual & motivational guy! He began appreciating my energetic & ambitious nature. then I told my parents about him & my dad told me that he’s a a jerk who pi.sses of people with amway products!
next day he visited my home. HE acted very clingy & was forcing me to listen to him. I found it annoying but he forcibly came inside my house & took out some dvd’s & forms. he then took out his laptop & began showing me videos of people who joined this business scheme & were earning a lot!he was coaxing me that I will earn a nice pocket money.
he began taking advantage of the fact that I am unemployed, he coaxed me to buy some tickets for a motivational show. Till that time I had no idea what business this was.
he began telling me Mr Obama is also promoting this! lol! I wanted to laugh but I somehow controlled! His whole family was involved in this shi.t!
next day I attended this non sense motivational show. Initially they told big fake stories about job.career.struggle .money. in the end when they introduced the amway shit! I got so angry.& people who were sitting behind me were yelling! fu;’ck! you amway!
then I left the room immediately & thrashed that man out when he visited my home next time.
2nd incident: roughly after 4 yrs, I shifted to bangalore.I was pursuing a course from some coaching. there used to be a girl in my batch who would always be depressed.she spoke very rudely & looked like a suicidal girl. she used to say that she worked from home. & now she wants to make a big career in IT industry. she used some fake certificates & got a job in accenture. she is still working there. 1 week after joining . she posted a group message on whats app saying she has a business idea for people who are looking forward for something big in life.
I thought she might be talking of some start up. when I called her she said that’its a secret business plan. . & that one of her senior colleague has introduced her to this. I asked her what is the company name? branch office? what it the concept? business model? what project? she had no answer for any of this. she began coaxing me that I must meet up her at some xyz location.
then I googled up & found that it was the same place where lot of people got duped in the name of qnet.
I immediately refused her & never spoke to her!
3rd incident: Again.this time I met this girl during an interview. she never used to speak to me.or reply to my texts properly. she works in infosys hyderabad as a developer. she used to be frustrated with it. I remember I called her 2 yrs ago regarding career talk. she was making excuses that she’s on roaming & it’s expensive to talk on phone.
after that she never replied to any of my msgs.or wished me on any festival.
Out of the blue. she sent me a text.last week. .saying sorry & cooking up a false story that she mistook me for some other girl. since I have had bitter experiences .i don’t trust people easily. she posted some malaysia trip pics on whats app! I did not gave her a damn.& did not even asked what was going in her life.
she then began bragging that she had started her own business & she had a client in kormangla.bangalore.I asked her whether it was a start up? how much did she invest? she began evading those questions & said it’s a product & services business.
then she acted very busy & was asking how my life is? how am I looking for job? she pretended to be a good friend.i then told her about how much I struggled. & was suffering from failure.she then said she will always be there to help me. & I can ping her anytime,
she began calling me everyday. & she would always focus on job & business . she began telling me she likes talking to like minded.motivated. & tough spirits like me. & that she does not wants to live an average life. . I asked her what exactly is your business about? can I see the website? she evaded & went offline.
next day I asked her where is the website. what products do you sell? she lied that it’s having merchant site only. you can’t access.
I found that fishy. so I asked her again.what is your monthly salary & how much have you earned so far. again. she went offline & acted busy.
asked her the same 4 times. then she replied: earning is good enough. there;’s a lot to learn. IT is boring. she began brain washing me that I must not study for govt jobs or mBA. & that business is best.I asked whether it’s a direct selling? MLM scheme? she said yes! it’s shocking to know that lot of IT professionals are falling into this trap!
I asked her again. what business model do u have? who helped u in this? she said that her colleague helped her & she is looking for like minded .ambitious people like me.
I again googled up & found that it was a fraud business scheme.
she has been trying to brain wash me & was also insisting that I must shift to hyderabad & stay with her & she will help me out in finding a job!she also asked about my financial status & was hell bent on making me join her business. & was bragging about her product launch in malaysia.i replied: no thanks!I don’t need your help!i am not interested in any business!
I blocked her immediately on my phone! she was calling me daily.just to know my feelings. desires. & then manipulate that information into fooling me.
guys don’t act desperate for job! these people are on hunt for people who are frustrated with life.who are innocent & ambitious. and remember there;s no shortcut for success.never trust your friends blindly.always do a full research before anyone asking you to invest money.because prevention is always better than cure!
