Let me talk about its features
1. Interface ---> The Interface is quite good and completely user friendly. I give it 3/5
2. Antivirus -- > The Quick Heal Antivirus engine is pretty fast when it comes to be compared with its earliest versions and its quite good against any kind of virus. Be it a virus coming from Pen drive, Quick Heal blocks and removes the threat successfully.
3. Antispyware--> The Antispyware is good but not much impressive. I sincerely believe that the Antispyware engine should be integrated and merged with its Antivirus Engine.
4. Firewall---> *Quick Heal’s Firewall is based on Agnitum Outpost which does a good job. It configures automatically by detecting your Network settings.
YOU DON"T NEED TO DO ANY THING AT ALL.
5. Antirootkit---> The Antirootkit feature is okay, definitely not the best
6. DNA Scan Technology--> This feature catches unknown application and terms it as suspicious and moves it to quarantine. Quick Heal team should focus on this DNA Scan as it considers every thing and any thing as a False Positive.They need to work more on this technology.
7. Native Scanner---> Native scanner is a good feature but can’t be scheduled as and when required @ a specified date or time.
8. Mobile Scanning ---> Quick Heal Scans all kinds of Mobile platforms, The only thing one needs to do is install a device driver for your mobile so that your mobile gets detected by Quick Heal and scanned.
9. Quick Heal Messenger --> *This one is very useful and very effective in providing any useful information by Quick Heal Team to its customers.
They do send New year wishes as well :)
10. Email Protection-->I haven’t received any kind of virus though through Email but this Quick Heal Email does scan my incoming and outgoing mails
Extra Features on Quick Heal Total Internet Security include Data Theft Protection, Hijack Restore, Advanced System Explorer, Track Cleaner, Windows Spy
Here, the Data theft protection is very good, Hijack restore does work, Advanced system explorer also works properly
Don’t know why they have introduced Track Cleaner as it isn’t much effective enough. Use Ccleaner instead of that crap Track Cleaner. Windows Spy is okay.
Finally, coming to the Customercare of Quick Heal
They have introduced new Toll free number 1800-233-3733(Thats Very Good)
*The Customercare is very very good and the response is @ a lightning speed.
