3 Pillars, 3 Different Stories.

In the QUTUB MINAR complex, there is not only one but three pillars of significant importance. at first obviously you’ll see the mighty qutub. it’s height and the carvings on it will amaze you. it’s so symmetric and so beautifully detailed. then a few yards away you’ll see the iron pillar. you won’t think much of it because its not that big and doesn’t look much. but the amazing thing about it is that it’s made of iron but it doesn’t rust. how did they manage to do that at that time ? then if you go a bit furthur you’ll see tha Alai minar. Alauddin khilji ordered this pillar to be twice the size of qutub minar. unfortunalety it was never finished due to Alauddin khilji’s death. but the base is there and you can imagine what it’d look like if it was completed. going on the qutub complex is like killing 3 birds with 1 stone. it is a must see in delhi.
