Hi friends this is my fourth review.today I will write about World known tourist place called Qutub minar. You might have visited for several of times but not knowing the history and its purpose of building the Minar. Here I will not go much deeper into history but want you know something about it, so that you can explore by yourself .

Its located in  Mahruli  area of Delhi(INDIA).Qutub Ud-Din Aibak is the founder of Delhi Sultanate, commissioned the Minar construction in 1192 AD. It was built after the ruins of Lal kot CITADEL in the city of Dillika( DELHI).

Aibak was not able to complete the tower and Illtutmish completed it by adding three more storeys. According to the inscription on the surface reveals that in 1359 - 1389  it was repaired by Firoz shah, Sikander lodi and most  of the interior design and houses were enlarged and repaired by Iltutmish and Ala Udin(successor of Aibak) their big touch was on Mosque. In 1368 the top storeys were destroyed by lightning and rebuild by Firoz Shah and it can be distinguish easily as its built of white marbles. In 1505 an earthquake destroyed the Minar and repaired by Sikander lodi.Again in 1803 big rumble of Earthquake cracked the minar and renovated by British Indian Army.
