I visited Qutb Minar with my college friends, entry fee was low and we started clicking selfies as we went inside the complex. It is accessible by Metro and Bus, Qutb Minar has well cleaned complex and lush green lawns.
We saw a lot of foreigners along with local guides who were gaining knowledge about Indian History, I too got some great clicks shot at the Monument.
Its a great place to visit, whether you want to spend time with family or friends, its one of the best places in Delhi to hangout.
It closes at 5pm so once has to be a bit early in his/her visit.
Its good to visit in Winters as Delhi becomes too hot in summers.
I traveled from Huda City Center in the Metro and it took me around 30 min to reach Qutb Minar metro station.
It has ample number of shops at the entry point so one doesnt have to worry about food and water.
.
Safety could be a concern for someone visiting for the first time as some people would try to get your money by telling you that their family has lost their homes or they missed the train and then they will try to make you emotional for their poverty.Better stay away from any malicious person or group of persons.
I dont recommend visiting it during the weekends as it becomes too crowded but during normal week days.
Overall I had a great experience and its a nice place to hangout.
