Raabta is an attempt at narrating a fierce love story that is based on the plot of reincarnation of lovers; Sushant Singh(Shiv) and Kriti Sanon(Saira). As most love stories, yes there is a villain here too, played by the handsome Jim Sarbh(zaak).
The film has some nice tracks including the title Raabta track with Deepika’s guest appearance.
The film reveals how the universe conspires to make these two lovers meet who were betrayed in the past and how they un-do the mistake of the past to unite with one another. Its a narrative comparison of two young people in love in today’s world and two lovers in the past who belong to a jungle/tribal clan. However; love is beyond the time zones and finally these two lovers meet.
Some comic timings are fun and easy to relate. Sushant acts as a pile-on and delivers creepy dialogues to add fun element in a few scenes. Little filmy it is and is just a one time watch movie. Both Kriti and Sushant make a fine on-screen duo.
