First half is good, boring in second half

Watched this movie today, 10th June. Heard about this as a remake of Magadheera(a hit Telugu film) so was curious to see how it is remade in Hindi.

I feel the movie is not a remake but shares a similar story line. It doesn’t even give the feel of Magadheera.

Sushant Singh made a justice to the role and his acting and  comedy timing is perfect. But on the other hand the story line and editing is poor. First half feels good as compared to second.

Story line is similar to Magadheera as both movies shows the concept of rebirth and old love which couldn’t complete in first birth and they met again in this life to complete it.

Villain’s role is played by a new actor Jim Sarabh who was not at all fit for the role. Although he acted well and tried to look psycho on screen, sometimes he was so confusing with dialogues and acting. He doesn’t have that villain kind of looks either.

If I talk about the previous birth part then again the movie lakes the effects and feel which you get in Magadheera. Looks like they tried to make the movie with limited budget.

Music is good and "Raabta" and "Ik vaari aa" both are very good songs.

At the end I would say the direction and story could have been better. The end felt very sudden that you don’t even realize the movie has just ended.

Overall the movie is a one time watch and can’t be compared with Magadheera.
