Raaga is one of the best restaurants I have visited in
Bangalore. It is in CMH road, Indranagar. The service is
excellent and food is of high quality and taste. The waiters are
courteous and handle children very well, apart from careful
service. The candle-light adds a magic touch to the ambience. It
has look & feel of a private place where you can relax with your
loved one(s).
I am a veggie. The hara bara kabab you get here is the best
in class. I also like the manchurian items, especially the
babycorn. On the main course, the veg. hydrabadi has a genuine
Andhra taste !
All the Naan items are great, though the stuffed naans are
not upto the mark. Soups have standard taste, but better than
Shanti Sagars.
The only crib is that the place is small. Though it spans
three floors, only the first floor is smoke free. So, if you are
visiting with family, it is the best choice. The other two floors
are not as well decorated as the first floor and look a bit dirty
as well.
Visit before 8.30pm, since it gets real crowded after that. Avoid
the seats near the wash basin, since it smells sometimes.
Though a bit on the costly side, it is worth every rupee you pay.
