Chak de, 3 idiots, Raajneeti

Before I say anything a warm hug and heartily thanks to Prakash Jha. He has been one director daring enough to come up with realistic movies(Ganagajal, Apharan & Raajneeti). Movie is modern age version of Mahabharata with Ranvir stealing the show. Its a political drama and story of every Indian political family be it Maharashtra or southern states. It starts with amazing speech from Naseer, followed by witty words of Manoj and ends with intelligent strategies of Ranvir.

Director has used skills of all actors, Rampal surprised with good acting, happy to see manoj utilised to his best, he is one actor who has not received credit for what he deserves, he is an amazing actor. Ajay devgan acted well(he is at his best with prakash jha), Nana patekar and Katrina Kaif also did justice to their roles.

Story has been well handled and you don’t feel bored at all. Diretor and story writer has given enough twists to keep one intact to the movie. Presentation of movie is very neat they have not tried any stupid camera tricks. Costume designer has given every body a different look be it cool jeans of Ranbir, kurat’s of arjun and Jackets of Manoj. Movies revolve around joint family and shows how youngsters take decisions in heist in absence of elders.  It is about greed(which we all have) at the price of relationships and talks about Power. Character actors have also done justice be it Shruti seth or SP who slaps Ranbir.

I wish Ajay had played role of Ranvir, however age of character must have been the reason why director chose otherwise. I am waiting for Prakash Jha’s next movie " Arakshan"  with Ajay and Manoj".
