Rajneeti - The Power of Politics !!

> Rajneeti should be rated as Prakash Jha’s best creation.

> I guess this one would be the first movie ever with such detailed view of our country’s Political scenario.

> Excellent Screenplay. Nicely enacted by all the cast.

> Ranbir Kapoor was good but I guess Abhishek Bachhan would have been better in this role.

> Nana, Arjun and Kats were outstanding.

> Shruti Seth should not take such roles as there are others in the industry that fit more in such racy negative images.

As a person I hate Politics/Politicians and such movies spun around these characters however Rajneeti was a phenomenon which I experienced with an open-mind and at the end I liked it much.

The way Mr. Jha has described the current political scenario and how these politicians consider the ’chair-power’ the utmost of all and how everything else including Blood Relations, Love, Sympathy and Care of the People who make them win seems so un-important is awesome !!

Best Scenes:

  1. Verbal arguments between Prithviraj (Arjun) and IG Sharma at the Hospit

  2. Car blast that kills Prithviraj (Arjun)

  3. Indu’s father rejecting Samar’s rishta for his needs and proposing Prithviraj.

  4. Nana Patekar’s every scene - He acted like Lord Krishna of Mahabharat (soft yet crucial)

The 2 songs I liked the most from the album were ’Mora Piya’ and ’Bheegi Si Bhaagi Si’... Good work by Gulzar Ji. Music was above the mark for a movie of this genre. Overall I would recommend this movie to everyone... Violence and Politics depicted nicely.

Kudos to Prakash Jha sahab.
