I wonder why this movie earned a bad reputation. I don’t know why people compare this with Ramayan. People who disappointed with this movie are really not watched the movie. While watching the movie they are running Ramayan in their minds. Do not watch this movie with the eyes of Ramayan. The plot of Ramayan is well known. The makers of this movie themselves told it is inspired by Ramayan. It does not mean it is a modern Ramayan. It need not comply with it 100%. It is a small, plain well known plot. But there is somuch beyond this in this movie. Screenplay, cinematography, locations, beauty of aishwarya, acting of Vikram and Manis direction.
Background score is good. Songs are apt for the situation. But songs as such are not good. No melody. Tunes are not good. But pictured excellently.The highlight of the movie is locations of nature. You feel as if you are present there.Some dialogues are not clear and understandable. This blame goes to Mani only. I dont know the purpose of making such un audible dialogues.
I loved this movie. It is refreshing.
