Shanya(Bipasha) to Aditya(Emran): Choti Behan ke saath sotey sotey, kya tum yeh bi bhool gaye ki kabhi Badi Behan ke saath tum bistar share kartey tey sums up the movie Raaz3 in a nutshell. The movie is about jealousy among step sisters, one an established actress, who is overcome with jealously that her step sister is overtaking her fame and laurel earned over the years. It is so close to the heart of the real actress in Bips, one can see her emote her frustration with aplomb since she too has undergone that stage.
In real life nowerdays very few resort to black magic, except old timers to seek retribution. How Bips is lead into the world of Black Magic is well captured through the 3 D effects. Spooky 3 D effects perks up the passion play unleashed by the lead pair. Aditya is lucky to have both the worlds, I mean kisses with both the heroine, he is more comfortable with the older one.
The movie could have been made into a suspense thriller, but the director did not want to waste the effort to concot the story. I was surrounded by the front bencher college students on the first day first show who were thrilled by the 3 D effect. Some even started jumping from their seats giving me some spooky feeling.
Overall one need not believe in Black magic to watch this movie, one has to watch it from the angle of a fiction well captured on the screen. I am sure this movie will be good grosser at the box office after Murder 1. Music is not great to rave about except the title song of Raaz filmed with some erotic gestures from BIPS. If one is bored with dishum dishum and action thrillers which have been box office hits lately it is worth seeing this movie for a change. Full marks to Bhatt who did not spare the Butts, with statutory warning embedded on the screen.
