First and foremost the concept and the script of this movie is well and good and let me tell you it will give goosebumps to most of the patriots if you are one.
It is a thriller based on the story of a female spy who decides to marry a pakistani Major’s Son. and later she passes on the crucial information during the 1971. and she does it successfully to protect her mother land from any harm. Every Indian should be proud of such people.
Now what caught my attention is that Dharma production and Karan Johar are simply playing with the emotions of patriots and making money and moreover as far as I conceived it this was a movie made just to lift the stature of Aliya Bhatt. It’s apparantly clear that she has been given the limelight in the film as well as in the social media too prior to the release of the movie
What’s important is the acting of Vicky Kaushal. I feel he has done it exceptionally well but somewhere I feel Aliya has been given a dominion over him just to let the people know that this movie is all about her.
So overall I am not criticising anyone infact I appreciate Aliya as an actor. But its my perception and my own view that the movie is just targeting the emotions of the audience nothing more nothing less. Make money Go Home thats it
