I used to be an ardent fan of this station in 2009 and till mid-2010. Thereafter, the quality of music played has started going south. Now, all that remains on the station are poor, shitty promotional campaigns, over tried gimmicks, overdoing RJs and the same bull crap music playing again and again.
RJs Surain and Meera have become the biggest laggards and they’re an’earsore’. I hate listening to Radio Mirchi now and it must be closed.
That it is a proxy of Times of India does not help as most of TOI’s publicity/goodwill seeking campaigns bore us here too.
