Delhi Embraces You

Its just been a week I put on a review about ’’All India Radio (AIR)’’ titled ’’The Lesser Son’’. It was put on, just 2 days before the opening up of Delhi Air Waves to Private Players. How true the review was is for all of you to judge.

Three FM channels was put on Delhi Air on midnight of 28th - 29th April 2003, RED FM(93.5 MHz), Radio City (91 Mhz) and Radio Mirchi (98.3 Mhz). And just look the good old two AIR’s FM channel has just lost focus or infact lost its flair. Actually those two never had the flair, but the Delhilites never had a choice. With the monopoly broken, AIR FM has been punched real hard, whether its a Knockout Punch, its the time that will tell.

Radio Mirchi is a part of Times Group. If Delhilites remember correctly, Times group way back in 1993-94 introduced Times FM 102.6, but was latter put off, because of the Monopolistic Govt., we had. At that time Times FM had made a mark in the heart of Delhilites. The re-launch didn’t have much of fan fare and publicity associated with Times Group but never the less the day and the frequency of the proposed channel was known by one and all.

What’s So Special About Radio Mirchi.

  • Great Music On Show Case.

  • All the RJs are Excellent.

  • Puts on Traffic, Investment, Sports, Celebrities News/Gossip.

  • Superior Reception & Sound Quality

  • Music for All Generation.

But the most important is the broadcast of program as per the ’’Shorter Attention Span’’ that now a days people have. That’s what make it Exciting and Enjoyable.

One the whole, its great to have a High Quality Radio Broadcast. Its not just good for the FM channel(economically), but for the people like me who genuinely enjoy listening to the radio.

Welcome Radio Mirchi 98.3, We Embrace You Whole Heartedly.
