Ridiculous reservation help desk

We made a booking through goibibo for this hotel for hyderabad with 100% advance payment. due to some change in plans. we needed to cancel this booking a good one month before the check in date( and just 2 days after we made the booking) but were refused saying it’s non refundable.( gives you an impression they are operating an airlines service).


So since we were stuck with this booking we requested for a date change. we were to check in on 14 and check out 16th august . and had requested that change be made for 16th and check out 18th august 2016.


No this they had another view that out of two hotel days booking we can change only one day . so booking got altered to 15 check in and 17th check out. they did this after a strong email sent from us finding the whole issue ridiculous.


Now the kids decided to join up.so another booking was made for 15th-17th. now the funny ppl have written a mail that your earlier booking is done for 16th to 18th . really funny . we told them that flight tickets and all have now been booked as per 15th - 17th . and since they had earlier refused to ammend both dates we cannot accept the change of bookings. but these guys are adamant about not reversing there dates.


I’m writing this only to mention that it’s definitely not expected from a hotel of radisson stature and to be so fussy about dates change . that too one day advance or prior . how does it really matter


Now we need to book another room for 15th since the other room is booked for 15th and our money goes down the drain for the 18th booking. in this competitive market to hold such grudges from a hotel is surprising. I Would avoid radisson chain henceforth since I don’t like seeing money being wasted like this
