I am writing this letter with at most disappointment and dissatisfaction which I experienced on using the RADO watch. To begin with, my sister purchased the Rado watch from Al Falah Plaza, Sharjah, UAE as a gift to my father and bought to India in 2016.He started using it from 2018 and after two years in 2020, it stopped working. We took it to the Rado showroom in Trivandrum, Kerala, India and they replaced the battery with a new one charging INR. 700 from us. It started working for a week and then stopped again. Again we took it to the showroom and they said that the board inside is complaint and they are helpless. They advised to change the board but said that it’s too expensive. They suggested us to contact the Rado Customer Care Centre and just complain about it.
In 1998, my father bought a Seiko watch for me and some years later, after changing the battery, it’s still working. Also I bought a Titan watch for me in 2009 which is still working after battery change.
Surprising fact is that I purchased a fancy watch through online which is China made three years before and it’s still working round the clock.
So this Rado watch which is very much more expensive than the above mentioned watches stopped working within 2 years and is of very poor quality.
As you may also know that the battery in the watch supplies DC current to the board for its working and due to this the board will never get damaged showing that in this case, the board is of very poor quality that it stopped working so soon.
To conclude, I want a solution for my problem caused by trusting your brand and using Rado watch. I want the replacement of this watch as early as possible.
