Raees is an upcoming 2016 crime drama film directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. It features Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan in the lead roles. The film Raees is expected to release on July 3 or July 8, 2016. The shooting takes place in April 2015 in Mumbai. The last schedule of the film with Khan and the whole starcast was shot in Gujarat in January 2016. The film was shot in Bhuj and Ahmedabad in January - February 2016. Actor/Actress Handsome Shahrukh Khan will be seen playing the role of a bootlegger, while Farhan Akhtar plays the role of a police officer in the film.
