Overall, the movie turns out to be a mishmash of various events in the life and career of Raees, a successful bootlegger. What is lacking is a single, driving reason for the movie to continue for 2 hours and 41 minutes. The end of the movie could have been easily moved by an hour earlier, and it wouldn’t have made much of a difference to the story. And of course, too many unnecessary songs, but I will get to that later.
