Raees is by far the best movie of 2017 with awesome story, based on the real life of criminal late abdul lateef .
the main highlights of the movie are its gripping story, superb acting of shahrukh khan, and mindblowing dialogue delivery( baniye ka dimag aur miya bhai ki daring - the DON is back)
nowadays, box office collections of movies of shahrukh khan and salman khan don’t tell anything about the quality of the movie, as they already cross the 200 crore mark due to star power.
I would say shahrukh has been one of the best actor india has produced but for the past 4 years, he had lost his charm and charizma which were present in movies like kal ho na ho, om shanti om, chak de, swades(epic movies).
he gave a series of flops like happy new year, fan, dilwale(ok). but in this movie he is back with a BANG .

plot- shahrukh is a liqour smuggler in the movie who rises to power in gujrat, and with the help of don musa of mumbai. nawazuddin sidiqqui enacts a police inspector who strives to arrest raees.
cast performance; shahrukh khan is flawless as always, nawazuddin is suberb and mahira is gorgeous, but a little less role of mahira khan, but as it is an action movie it is self explanatory
sound track; the sound track by ram sampath is mesmerising . the songs worth mentioning are the romantic song "zaalima" and the theme song’saanson ke" will make you spell bound
cinematography: cinematography as always is top notch in red chillies production . you cannot complain about that.
overall a rivetting experience, if you are a shahrukh khan fan and loved "don", then you must surely watch it.
