Rahul Dravid is boring, there’s no question about it. I watch the BBC politics channel rather than cricket when Dravid is batting, such is his boring play.
Indians says he is a rock, so what, so is Bevan. Yet Bevan hits sixes and Bevan can be entertaing to watch.
I can’t argue with the fact that he doesn’t do his assigned job, he will never change because that’s the way he plays slow and boring.
In ODI matches when India have 10 overs to spare with several wickets in hand they are resticted to very low scoring, because of him. Other teams such Pakistan and SouthAfrica can really accelerate with players such as Klusener, Pollock, Razzaq and Boucher. But India can’t because of this guy.
He can rescue India when they’re down but when they’re on the up at 200 for 3 off 40 overs you can’t expect anything more than 265. But there is the fact that he makes patnerships so respect to him in that sense.
