Ajay Devgn, plays the role of Senior Income Tax officer who is honest, ethical, rule bounded and patient officer.

He is posted in Lucknow to join the duty, due to his honest and non corrupt approach towards his duty he is transferred very often from one place to another. When he lands in Lucknow he receives the information about the local politician who has accumulated enormous wealth with his corrupt work. He starts researching on the malpractices of that politician and prepares a file to get the permission to RAID his home from the Directorate Of Income Tax, Delhi. The directorate warns him that aftermath results of the raid. Ajay Devgn will be instructed that if he conducts the raid and finds anything less thats mentioned in the approval file for raid then there will be departmental inquiry on conducted on him and also he will be instructed that there is a threat to his life and the fellow officers who will join him in the raid. Considering all these factors Ajay Devgn decides to go ahead with the raid and with his wit and intelligence he will be able to recover 425Cr which is hidden in the politicians residence.

The only bad thing in the film which could have been eliminated totally is the romantic song in between the raid.

Performace - Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Sukhla have enacted the characters extremely well. The casting of other actors have been done precisely and they have justified their roles.

Music is not important to this film looking at the screenplay. I mean to say the songs. The background score during the raid makes impact on the visuals.

Now talking about the cinematography and editing, both this department of film making is the most important and cannot be neglected. The camera work and lighting of the scenes have been done very nicely and editing adds to the story telling, editing is crisp and adds power to the story telling,
