I saw this movie for the first time only recently, after hearing it mentioned for years. Oh, Why did I wait so long? It is a very heartwarming film about the love for a brother. Tom Cruises’ character develops into a caring gentle brother from a person who was mostly out for himself and a buck.
Dustin Hoffman who plays the autistic brother Raymond- the Rain man made the movie the masterpiece that it is. You can’t help but love him, and you see him grow in the film to a person with more meaning to his life, you can’t help but cheer him on.
The Rainman is a drama but has plenty of comedy due to Raymonds pecularities, about his daily life. You can find yourself in both of the leading characters. Make a special evening of sharing this movie with someone you care about and try not to have any interruptions.
