Went to the hospital as my 8 yr old has been throwing up every bit of food and was running temp. Being a Sunday, asked to see the doctor in emergency as clinics are usually closed.
9:55 am: Was told off by the reception that its a in-patient block and that doctors are busy in rounds and cannot see the patients even in emergency. I have to go to the OP clinic opp Shiplaramam if I need to meet with Doc. Doc will be available at 10.00
10:05: At the Kondapur clinic, the doctor has not not arrived was asked to wait. Found out that the doctor was doing her rounds in IP block.
10:20: Was told doctor will take time to come so have to wait.
Seriously, this is the most arrogant man behind the desk. Having worked with Healthcare brands, yes, patients can be pushy and unreasonable at times. But to make a person go round town when the doc is the same building is ridiculous.
Hospitals have a doc on duty for IP emergencies. But the man refused to call anyone. Emergency protocol is so missing. How does he decide an emergency and its a IP unit, in case god forbid someone needs admission, do they have to rush back from OP to IP unit.
Had smsed Dr . - the man behind the hospital. He was kind to call back, speak and listen to the issue.
Such a iconic brand and such poor protocols and poor response mechanism that too in a children hospital. never going back to the place for sure and will never recommend anyone to.
Went to Cherry Childrens clinic in Sri Ram Nagar, Kondapur. Clinic was closed but the doctor was kind enough to take the call and give me treatment plan for the day to manage my childs health.
