We had been hearing about Rainbow and Dr farhan sheik from our neighbors in apartment since long time and it was our ignorance or whatever, we avoided taking our son there. He had Asthma and we used to visit pediatricians in our neighborhood and take medicines and nebulisations.
This February, my son developed severe attack of Asthma, our pediatrician asked us to get him admitted , and we decided we should take him to Rainbow hospital at Banjara hills.
In Rainbow, the response of the doctors was so quick, the nurses started nebulization and oxygen immediately, within 20 to 30 minutes they took his X ray and shifted him to ICU.
We met Dr Farhan sheik, he was the in charge of my child’s treatment. He is little over weight, smiling and pleasant. He explained us nicely about Asthma and our son’s condition. My son’s conditioned worsened , by evening they put him on ventilator, Dr farhan came in the night, he was visibly looking tired as he was coming from Hi Tech city clinic, he pacified us and stayed in the ICU till 2am in night and only after my son started showing improvement, he left.
Next day he was there from morning till afternoon, he had his OPD in Banjara clinic. I realized, how hectic his schedule was.
The second day he was in the hospital whole night looking after our child and other sick children and on third day morning he was still there smiling as usual!
My son started improving, removed from ventilator and discharged after 5 days.
I can never forget those three nights in Rainbow, and Dr farhan and his team’s dedication and hard work.
We visit Dr Farhan in rainbow Hi Tech city clinic, waiting is 45 minutes to one hour, but each time we meet him he is full of information and ideas.
