I don’t know what came into my mind when I booked Raj Travels on my way back to Pune from Banglore.I really don’t want that 30th Nov, 2008 to come back to my life.
It was a horrifying experience.Usually working class people prefer to take the 16:30hrs bus from Banglore so that they can reach at Pune by morning 5:30(as projected by Raj Travels) so that its convenient.But he story goes like this.
We boarded the Bus at 16:30 on 30th near Majestic in Banglore and had hardly crossed it the Bus broke down.We were stuck there for more than 1.5hrs and no one from B’lore Raj Travels picking the phone and the driver told us that we’ll get a replacement bus.
Finally they replaced that part with the help of local mechanic & we moved ahead...after we had just croosed the city..there was a smoke inside the Bus..it turned out that AC was getting overloaded.SO we were again stuck at a Petrol Pump outside the city till 11PM and AGAIN no one from Raj Travels picking the call to help us.
Finally they sent us a Local Bus which was a mockery in the name of VOLVO and we were told that we’ll get to move to another Bus at Hubli...We reached Hubli by 6:30 morning.(Just to remind here.We were supposed to be at Pune by 5:30)Got into another Raj Travels Bus at the wee hours of chilly morning.
Finally it seemed that everything was going on fine when there was a Tyre Puncture just before entering Pune. Finally many passengers got down and took other transports to reach home.We reached at 15:00hrs to Pune. Whatever you have to do, but *NEVER* travel by Raj Travels...they will take make a complete fool of yourself and wont even bother to apologize or return money.
