Best Music Award 1996 Raja Hindustani

1996 was the year when extensive promos of Raja Hindustani were on-air. The very first day the music became a hit and everyone liked the music and as it turns folds one by one all of the song became hot favorite and Pardesi spelled a craze in the music industry. With star cast like Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor the movie was expected to a good one. As the movie released it got thunderous start and became the one of the best movies. I give more credit to the music of the movie as the movie was inspired from another movie of 1965 Jab Jab Phool Khile. Instant and melodious music was the main reason for the success of the movie. Lets see the album how it strikes the hearts.

Pardesi Pardesi

Udit, Alka & Sapna Awasti

The song is the one of the best songs by Nadeem Shravan. A heavy instrumental and superb melody make this song a heart winner. Though at times Sapna Awasti’s voice looks uncomfortable but still it is the spice of the song. Orchestration is simply excellent. The song was craze of 1996 and everybody here and there humming the song. Alka sings marvelously.

Pardesi To Jana Nahin

Kumar Sanu & Alka Yagnik

Basic tune is the same but orchestration and arrangement style is quite different from the earlier song. Specially the small piece by Alka Mere Dil Main Younhi Rehna… is awesome. Alka singing in style and Kumar Sanu gives his expressional impression so well that the song become evergreen. Superb orchestration and singing with some very best lyrics by Sameer. I prefer this song over the above one.

Pardesi Pardesi

Suresh, Bela & Chorus

A smaller version used at the climax scenes. This too has its own impression but too short that there is not much to comment on it. Still a part of Pardesi so it is a good song.

Kitna Pyara Tujhe

Udit & Alka

Though the song is not original, as it is inspired from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s song Kina Sona Tenu Rab Ne Bnaya but still the song is situational and well rearranged by NS so it is to be listened for Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab on behalf of Nadeem Shravan. Furthermore Nadeem Shravan admitted that they have picked this song from Nusrat Sahab’s song so finally I admire this song. Udit and Alka sung the song quite well.

Poocho Zara Poocho

Alka Yagnik & Kumar Sanu

One of the best song of the album with some exclusive arrangements. Nadeem Shravan appears to be in their full form in this song. The song fits the situation so perfectly that it becomes treat to watch in the movie. Alka sung alone in the start till mid of the song then Kumar Sanu comes and he sung in style. A loveable song.

Uff Kya Raat Aye Hai

Alisha Chinoy, Sapna Mukherji & Kumar Sanu

A very situational party track used very well in the movie. Singers sung with great joy and with a fast pace song becomes nice track. The song is quite unique because as Kumar Sanu sings he sing it in Sad Emotions whereas Alisha sung it like a simple party track. Sameer’s lyrics are also the strong point in the song.

Aye Ho Meri Zindgi Main

Alka Yagnik

Many of people will be surprised to see this song in the end but I purposely placed it in the end. One of my most favorite track in both versions its quite loving. In this version Shenai is the highlight of the song and the pure singing by Alka. Lyrics are very special and so as the music of this song.

Aye Ho Meri Zindgi Main

Udit Narayan

The best song of the album. From every angle you take singing you take music or you take lyrics it is the best song. one of the finest composition by Nadeem Shravan. Harmonium is the notable instrument used in the song. finally the picturization of the song is also very well, very simple and very specific toward the subject of the movie.

The best soundtrack of Nadeem Shravan career. People say about Nadeem Shravan that they do not experiment or not changed their style 0.1% even. I say in the answer that their success lies in sticking to their style. The only thing they have changed in their music is the usage of new instruments and technology. The album is one of the most loving if you skip all those issues like change and experimentation. Some loving melodies always haunt you toward them.

Thankz
