This is the place for Mughlai style food, although they do have a Chinese and sandwich/pizza menu. The Chinese is like Punjabi-Chinese, though.
We usually try out their chicken and mutton dishes, their tandooris and kababs are just wonderful, probably the best in Mumbai, definitely the best at their prices. Since there is a constant stream of customers, you can be assured of fresh food. The service is crisp. The ambience is nothing much to write about, it is like a family Irani joint, though they do have an air conditioned area with waiters in waistcoats! We prefer the non-AC area - it is a large area, and is more fun!
They have a nice range of sweet dishes too, like custard, phirni, malai kulfi. The malai kulfi is really good!
This joint is one place you will keep coming back to, because it is light on the pocket. A full meal for four with soup and sweet dish will set you back about Rs 350/- only! So go ahead and try out this joint.
