Rajdhani the name invokes a sense of royalness. The fastest train to ply on Indian Railways. People traveling on this train are looked upon as if they travel by AIR.
I travelled by Mumbai to Delhi Rajdhani. First impressions: The coach was different from other normal mail trains, the most noticable was its suspension those huge springs nd d works, and I guess it had disc brakes(not sure)
This type of machinery made me think the ride would be smooth as if on air. But sometime in the train and as it picked up speed, came aftershocks.The train jerked and jerked several times dont knw whats the reason, but it was scary.
The service inside was as usual the lethargic way ppl in govt sectors work. The highlight was how the person distributing newspapers, he threw newspapers at us as if he was doing us a favour.
The attendant kept on dumping the sheets randomly in a hurry as if the next stop was the last one. In fact all the people working on this train seem to be in a hurry the waiters keep pushing the eatables fast nd furiously. One after the other they shove it at us passengers, many of the co-passengers had to fight with bout of acidity with constant feeding.
The most hilarious part is in the morning. The waiter shouts at 6 in the morning to have tea/coffee. Not even my mom does it. Then they shove brkfast at 7 OMG I can still feel how it was having ur mouth full all through the journey,
some pointers if any railway official is reading this: I noticed the waiters were throwing the garbage in between the coaches. This was the most horrible thing I felt. Railways always announces to maintain cleanliness on railway stations and it could not instill this thing in their own employees.
They were throwing garbage by the ton. I shudder to think what if the garbage gets stuck in any machinery beneath and leads to some major accident.
