After seeing good reviews about Rajdhani restaurant on the internet, I and my wife visited Rajdhani restaurant in Forum Value Mall, Whitefield last Saturday (29th oct 2012) along with my kid for dinner on the eve of our wedding anniversary.
We got a warm welcome from their friendly staff. The waiters and stewards were well dressed and mannered and we felt very pleased with their greetings, service and courtesy.
However, we got disappointed to see some of the main delicacies missing from the menu published in their website. I had a glance at the day’s menu on their website before visiting the restaurant. I found that around 7 items were not served to us. More importantly main items like Day’s specials, some of the main course items and Desserts were not served to us.
While I understood that Menu is subject to change without prior notice, there should be compensatory items if a particular item is not served. But not serving so many items, that too specials of the day, certainly disappointed us. This is not what I expected from a very reputed restaurant like Rajdhani.
It is for the wide varieties of delicacies that we spend Rs.375 per meal. If so many items are not served then there is no point in spending that much money and it is definitely not worth. And if you are south indian spice lover, it is a strict avoid as the curries and dals are very mild with no or little spice.
