Had been to Mantri Square yesterday with my parents after hearing few good things about it. The decor n ambience is nothing great to write about. It was avg, like any of the Sagars in bangalore with AC.
Now the Thali came with 10 cups/katoris. There were 4 subjis(bhendi, Alu mutter kofta something, channa n don’t rem the other) with phulkas and khoba roti. I found tiny stones in 2 of the subjis while chewing. The quantity of subjis served was very low, esp Bhendi. As some1 has rightly pointed in the previous review, if subji is served, roti is late and vice versa. 2 dals, kadhi, khichdi, lassi and curd rice were all just passable. Desserts included basundi(was like srikhand), jalebi and doodhi halwa. Desserts wer lil better than all the previous dishes. But again thy were kanjus in serving desserts( 1 spoon or so each time we called them).
We came back dissapointed coz for 299 per head, that too for veggie food, we defenitely expected better quality, quantity and ambience.
