But he got recognition with serial Kahin To Hoga on Star Plus. Kahin To Hoga started as a story of 5 sisters. The serial was slotted at 11:00 PM. Eventually the serial turned out into a love triangle and rajeev was a part of this love triangle. Rajeev’s character popularly known as Sujal gained popularity in a very short span of time. People started watching the serial at 11:00 PM only to watch Rajeev akka Sujal of Kahin To Hoga.

The character of Varun was very different from Sujal of Kahin To Hoga.
