I started visiting Dr. Gurucharan Singh at Raji’s Skin care Center in Jan 2011. I was looking for a cure for my acne and Hydradenitis Suppurativa(both skin issues). The doctor put me on extensive medication for almost a year, promising me that I’ll be completely cured. He assured me many times over that he can completely cure Hydradenitis Suupurativa(Though there is no reliable treatment for this debilitating disease in any part of the world) without any surgical procedures as I had already undergone surgery with no positive results. I was amazed!
After a year, my acne was cured. at the cost of developing irregular periods and extensive hair fall, which I suffer from till date.
My Hydradenitis Suppurativa simply got worse. I went back to the doctor and showed him my condition. I was super-shocked at how a compassionate doctor who cheered me up for all those months suddenly got agitated(I still don’t know why). He simply exploded by saying "NOTHING CAN BE DONE. GO GET YOURSELF OPERATED. YOU WILL FIND A CURE IF YOU ARE LUCKY". I just stood there crying while he wrote me a bill and asked me to step out. Definitely not the kind of behavior expected from a well-educated highly reputed doctor when he is dealing with a patient suffering from grave disorders.
