During my last business trip to Jaipur, I stayed at ITC Rajputana Palace. I should make a mention about the tough time I had while making the booking.I had to make at least half a dozen calls to confirm my booking as they kept telling that they have not received my mail.They also gave 3 different mail IDS a said none of my mails reached them. They wanted me to fax my request which I found very funny as I told them that I havent used a fax machine during the last 2 years.
Finally I had no option to hunt for a fax machine and fax my request. I was also amazed when they asked me to provide them my credit card details, which I politely refused. I am really surprised that a Prestigeous organization like Welcome Group is unable to handle bookings.However the Hotel has excellent ambiance and my stay was extremely comfortable.
Food quality was outstanding and I was delighted to see the Chefs walking around during breakfast time to inquire what type of food we prefer.Rooms were also spacious and the staff were very cordialWhen I pointed out at the reception at the time of check in, the trouble I faced while making the booking , they were good enough to make a note of my complaint and assured prompt attention.I would certainly recommend this hotel to people visiting Jaipur
