I can’t understand hindi movie industry who love to hate RGV and steals students of RGV from Shimit Amin, Vivek, even Aamir started to change after rangeela, Anurag, Shriram U name it even Saif got serious after ek hasina. So master remains master.Rakht Charitra name itself is enough to tell what to expect Blood. To make a movie base on Historical characters is far easy where each thing is in library but to bring real story like RC needs guts, & talent which RGV got plenty.I have seen Jhoota hi sahi also but movie of week is RC.
This is story of brutal city or jungle where every one is thirsty of power & glory. The true story of Paritala Ravi.As RGV is known for his realistic kind of cinema welcome to Hindi cinemas most violent film so far.RGV goes with his inner believe & he don’t belive in useless songs dance costume drama.Pure emotions & strong characters which I don’t think anyone in hindi cinema till now has done or can create this is his forte. The essence of the film is revenge. So if u understand this than u will no doubt will love RC.From an ordinary student to become one of the most famous ganster politician Ravi(Vivek) & main rivalry between the Bukka reddy(Abhimanyu Singh) a mad gangster with political dynasty. Ravi comes into power as he joins politics under the party of filmstar-turned-minister Shivaji(Shatrughan Sinha). As he terminates all his enemies, he gains more and more command over the city. Despite being a political drama, Ramu never delves deep into the minutiae of the affairs of the state and keeps the story straightforward for easy understanding. At instances, killings in the film come as unexpected as death would come in real life its a famous phrase which completely applies to RC. The scene where Ravi murders the minister(Kota Srinivasa Rao) in the first half comes so unexpectedly that it takes time to sink into your senses, than when he kills Ashish(who dies with excellent performance) in front of lord Shiva & then his eyes says interacts with Lord Shiva as thanks giving, killing of Buka a bullet in his butts & than axed, Many more scenes are just outstanding . Abhimanyu Singhs Buka Reddy, Ramu gives a venomous villain who expresses lust in his eyes and cruelty in his actions, like never seen before. All other supporting actors are perfect, with anger in eyes.I havent seen so many angry eyes in hindi cinema for revenge. The pace is fast and doesnt give you time to ponder over proceedings.Just one song wasn’t required.Dialogues are not narrative just perfect, as script is, & I loved background score which for me is perfect for such flick & RGVs movies always have best Background music, thats why I have given 5 star.Director for me is king if he fails movie fails but here RGV never let me down.
RGV brings back Vivek which he lost doing stupid cameo’s & johar claiming that Kurbaan’s role written for him.Vivek is excellent. His anger after death of his brother and when he takes revenge is visible not in bloodshed but in his eyes. RGV is best when it comes to bring out best emotions and make strong characters no one can beat him.But wait for Surya.Than only real Rakht will start. Abhimanyu Singh is exceptional as the hotheaded and weird opponent. He makes a mark.
Shotgun in his role which he never got in past, with immense screen presence, like Khamoosh his fav punch line here also he got one which surely will become hit.Climax will makes u to sit & watch what u can expect in part 2, even women who were in hall were bound to sit.Bloody hell gorgeous movie but wait for RC2.RGV rocks. In short if you can understand art of making cinema go for it, else sit & watch songs dance. Strong power to digest the truth is must to know Rakht charitra. AS RC is not complete review is also not complete because 100% I am gonna give 5 stars for rc2 bcz war of 2 actors will be treat to watch.I believe Surya will eat Vivek alive in RC2.
