RGV ki Aag ~ Courageous effort & deserves praise

Pros - Performances by all lead actors(Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal, Ajay Devgan, Prashanth Raj, Sushmita Sen, Nisha Kothari), cinematography and background music

Cons - Climax scenes

Why are the people & critics alike trashing this movie? I’m sure everyone now knows that this is not a remake of the original Sholay because Ram Gopal Verma could not get the rights to do it. So he made a story inspired by the original.

The movie is good. Think of it this way - Imagine you’re viewing this lead actors for the very first time. Also, you’ve not seen Sholay yet. And this is the first RGV movie you’ve seen. Would you still hate this movie? I don’t think so. The cinematography, performances and background music are excellent. Amitabh Bachchan is the most scary villain I’ve seen yet in Indian cinema. Nisha Kothari is cool, both in looks & acting. I hope the commercial fortunes of this movie does not affect her career in bollywood. What disappoints me is the climax. It was hurried and there’s no feeling of thrill for the viewer.

Keep going, RGV.that was a courageous effort anyway
