Hey after doing the bhoot, the sarkar, and everything below the sun, what can we expect out of a "Maverick Gone Wrong" director -- Ram Gopal Varma. Well he goes out there and he tells all the world how stupid or idiotically passionate about making movies.
Well, he took us all by surprise when he said that he would make a remake of the Biggest Blockbuster of the Hindi Cinema.....SHOLAY. We really dont know what prompted him to make this movie but in-house reports say that there was a lot of lobbying done by the SAMBHA of the original movie, i.e. McMohan, who was part of the original movie and played the most popular role ever done for a sidekick.
He was in constant touch with Ram Gopal Varma, because he wanted to play the lead role in the movie, and was interested in playing the role of Veeru, and wanted to romance a girl in the movie. So, all you guys wanting to know why Ram Gopal Varma, made this movie , go and ask , McMohan. So, he made this movie for him, but unfortunately he could’nt be a part of this endeavour, because he was busy shooting with Mallika Sherawat. Can you believe that?
Well he roped in Ajay Devgn and Amtabh Bachchan, because, they were the only stars available . However Ajay was free after him first directorial debut became a debacle. So, Ramu was the first one to take him onboard. Well, as far as Big B is concerned, everybody knew that he wanted to the role of Gabbar Singh, so, he was immediatly taken in.As far as the movie goes, I dont want to talk about it, well there is nothing to talk about. Nothing except Urmila’s ugly moves in the item song--Mehbooba........Well if you can call it that is.....Ram Gopal Varma ki Mehbooba, , , , , is the sequel to Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag. This dwells more upon Mehbooba’s child life and everything about her.Can’t wait to wathc that. Waiting with bated breath. OMG!!!!!!! What a waste of time writing this review.
