Lost in translation..........

I already know that movie is not good from scathing reviews all around the web ...Still I cant stop myself from watching the movie.I thought as I already know that the movie is not good so I can be better prepared and I can manage it...

But I was wrong....an ardent fan RGV right from his first movie his all time best movie SHIVA (telugu) . I walked out of the theater with a strange feeling.I was amazed to  know that when he is doing his first movie ..he never worked as an assistant director .he had a vision for his kind of film......with only  his vision and he successfully  translated it  to the  screen...It created wonders at that time in telugu . Also it was remade in Hindi (AB has produced) also in Tamil....

I lost all that when I saw  his recreated "Shiva"..Now he is trying to recreate "SHOLAY"..I wondered how its going to be....

The plot :

The basic plot is along the same lines of original .. nothing much to discuss.

The performances :

Narasimha : Mohanlal who did a commendable performance in the "COMPANY" didn’t make a great mark here. His Hindi accent which gelled well with his police officers role doesn’t suited to this role.

HEERO : Ajay Divan is simply wasted. I didn’t found him or veero in the movie.

RAJ : This new chap did a ok role when we know its his first film. I felt there is much heroism in his character than HEERO !...

Durga Devi : She tried her best to be in the supposedly gloomy widower ..

AND THE MOST FAMOUS ...

BABBAN SINGH : Rgv tried his best to create this character better than the legendary Gabbar. But he fails completely...He tried to make us sympathize this character (when his bro dies). That actually affected the soul of the film....

The only thing I found a bit interesting is photography ..that too after I while I felt as over done.

Final Word :*

A film is about creating right emotions in the viewers which the maker tries to create. When he is successful in generating that emotions which he intends  then the film  works ...This is exactly where RGV faltered ..he was not able to and may be no one ..even the makers of original can recreate the same.
