An attack on your senses!

Ramaiya Vastavaiya (meaning, Ramaiya, would you come??) is not an inspiration but a makeshift offering of Prabhudeva (who has only directed remakes in Bollywood) resembling two of Bollywood’s yesteryear blockbusters. The only difference is addition of his trademark masala of loudy dialogues and indiscreet acts.

Replacing a sensible Salman of 90s is a modern chimp, Ram (Girish) playing an opulent NRI from Australia who falls upon Sona (Shruti) in his cousin’s marriage ceremony in India. To make the movie masaledaar, Ram has an evil mom, Ashwini (Poonam), who wants him to tie the knot to Dolly, daughter of an equally rich guy,

Jayprakash (Nasser).

Despite the odds, love blooms between Ram ji and Sona ji and pinches hard into the eyes of piggish Ashwini and his brother Krishnakant (Satish Shah). No marks for guessing, they both insult Sona and Raghuveer (Sonu Sood) who are forced to leave the marriage. To win her love, Ram goes all the way to Sona’s village and accepts a laborious condition put forth by Raghuveer.

To make the matter worse for him, thrown in are some baddies to make Ram’s stay a challenging one. Govind Namdeo as the evil landlord hell bent on getting his son married to Sona and Zakir Hussain as a contract killer hired by Nasser.. Hufff!!!
