Ramayana. The word seems to explain everything, doesn’t it?
Wrong!!! If you have not seen this animated version of Ramayana, then you have missed a chance to see it from an entire new perspective. Ramayana The Legend Of Prince Ram was animated in Japan and trust me it does change the usual style of Ramayana...
The graphics, artwork, sound effects, songs... everything is perfect... Ok Ok!!!... not perfect but pretty close to it. Even the dubbed version (Hindi) is done perfectly with the sounds of famous T.V. and movie personalities like Arun Govil, Shatrughana Sinha, Amrish Puri, to name a few.
Also in the english version the emotions in the voice and the expressions on the face are done perfectly. For e.g. The aggression in Rama’s voice when he is beckoned by Ravana to fight with against is put down perfectly.
Also on an ending note... this series was shown twice earlier on Doordarshan.
