Today I wanna review about the Ramoji Film City which is the world’s largest integrated film city and India’s holiday destination of magic cinemas. It is spread around 2000 acres of land. The owner of Ramoji Film City is Ramoji Rao.
I was with my family for holidays in Hyderabad in the month of may this year for a week and in that one of the day we had visited this place. When we reached there by our tourist car, it has an ample amount of space for parking the cars. When we entered at the ticket counter area it was too crowded as that day it was mother’s day and there was free entry for the mother’s at Ramoji .The management was not good at the entrance as it was much crowded. We had purchased the ticket from hotel only so we were not in the Que for longer time. We had bought the normal packages of Rs. 1250 each a person and there was other package too which was of Rs. 2349 know according to me the difference between this packages is that I am giving the information below:
Normal package - The timing of this package is 9: 00 am to 7: 30 pm and the package for adult is Rs.1250 and child Rs. 1050. In this package your tour is done by a non- ac coach bus, you need too spend your own money for the food stuff which is available in the Ramoji Film City.
Expensive package - The timing of this package is 9: 00 am to 11: 30 am only and the package for Adult is Rs. 2349 and for child is Rs. 2149. In this package your tour is done by ac coach bus and you will be provided with buffet lunch both veg. and non-veg, evening tea/coffee at eureka and a coupon of Rs. 75 to redeem at merchandise store inside.
So as it was my normal package only I was thinking that it would have been good if I would have purchased an expensive package as it was a month of may and taking a tour from non-ac coach was gonna be a hectic day for me, I had purchased a cap from the entrance but it won’t stop you from heat so here for non-coach people I would suggest that please carry an umbrella with you as it can cover you and your skin wont get tanned due to sun. So when you start a tour they show you the film sets one by one and give you the information that which film was shoot here, there is a guide in the bus he speaks in 3 languages i.e. english, hindi and marathi as there are people who come from the different part of the state. After showing the sets you would be taken to an Eco Zone this visit includes butterfly park, Exotic bird park and bonsai garden. After Eco Zone Then it comes to Ramoji movie magic and space yatra you will really enjoy it’s space Yatar and in Movie magic they will tell you that how movies are made from starting to ending in step by step you would would be surely gonna enjoy this. Then u would be taken to entertainment shows at eureka which includes dada jinn’s live tv show and lights camera action. There are also various complementary rides such as ranger, break dance, twister, super jet then it comes live entertainment show at Eureka in this the well trained artist perform on the stage like dance, singing etc and at last is the carnival parade. The one thing I missed out is about the sahas adventure I would be mentioning that below about it.
Sahas adventure - sahas adventure is a kind of adventurous spot that you would really enjoy it. For this you need to take a ticket from the the ramoji’s entrance only. Thee are various adventurous task in sahas like shooting and archery, paint ball, bungee ejection, high rope course and many more from this I had selected two adventures for Rs 1000i.e. first one was high rope course in this a person is send by a rope from one spot to the other standing 20feet of the ground and the bungee ejection was that the elastic rope releases pulling you straight of the ground near about 15 meters of height, this one had really scared me a lot but when you are pulled up you can see a full view of Ramoji film city. I also did an adventure of All terrain vehicle it was 500 per person. I was really anxious to do that but first of all they take a test of yours whether you would be able to ride properly or not then only they let you perform the task. when we started there was a guide with me throughout the task he guided me well as I was following him throughout the circuit of 1.5km this had given me a really thrilling experience.
So my experience about the Ramoji film City was really an unforgettable one I hope I would get a chance again to visit it whenever possible. But my suggestion regarding Ramoji Flim City will be that don’t visit this place in summer as it is very hot and if you visit then select the expensive package or if you can’t afford that carry at least an umbrella with you for each person and the last option would be better to visit this place in winter.
