Education & Politics in Ranchi University

I am a student from Ranchi University. I did my Intermediate from a college which comes under Ranchi University but the course was for Bihar Intermediate Education Council, then I completed my B.Sc Hons. from the same college, the course was from Ranchi University itself.

My concern is that I realized the interest of teachers/professors over there was in calling students for private tutions insted of delivering in class. Now why I raised this point, if the University management will look after these things certainly such activities can be stopped, and students who cam fro the first time in college for Intermediate education will not face such a problem because the teachers/professors are the same from the university.

I also realized that in Ranchi University the buttering politics prevails, good teachers/professors are over looked while any time consideration comes for HOD or some thing like that, this is also not good.

People will wonder how I can say like this, because I was a student and I also got an opportunity to teach there in my starting career as an adhoc lecturer. When I was there the top management like principal, HOD and all such persons expect you to come to them daily for their likes only, I remember once I visited them with specific issue which my students were facing related to laboratory they just told me you should not take students side.

My question is talking about students, if it so bad then what all a teacher is expected to do. Believe me I left that job though I am still guiding student from my home (not private tution) because they always comes to me even their juniors.

So my request is to remove buttering politics from Ranchi University and think about students who are the brifght future of our country.
