It was just another day in life when I finished work and reached back home to sit on the lounge and enjoy a good cup of tea when my friend called me and told me it was the very last screening of the movie in Sydney at 830 tonight!
I was tired, sleepy , had a pile load of work, could have used a good sleep but I had to go. I am very glad I did.
An outstanding movie! Somewhere around half way, I was beggining to get concerned about my money and if it was well spent this time! However, it is only in the second half that you start relating to the complete picture and in no time, everything from the first half starts falling in place and makes it a tale very well narrated.
The best scene? Aamir telling his friend : Tum past ki baat kar rahe ho, voh future ki baat kar rahi hai; ek pair sala past mein hai aur ek sala future mein, tabhi to hum present pe rahe hain!
The climax was outstanding, a story very well narrated indeed! The colors, cinematography, the cast, music - you couldnt have asked for any better for anything. People who have lived in Delhi will relate to all this instantly.
I am glad after months I have seen an indian movie that does not contain any irritating drama and any bull! Good there are no Subash Ghais and Karan Johanrs that did this one! Keep it real folks! Job very well done!
Cannt recommend this movie enough. Go out there and watch it!
Roobaroo is the best song of the movie; to me. Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding!
