Rang de Basanti is a worth watching, once in a lifetime movie. U may think that I am praising it too much, but I really dont have words to express my feelings bout it. After SHOLAY, I have seen this movie which lacks nothing- it has drama, comedy, tragedy, patriotism etc. Every actor in this movie has given his best and the consiquences r certain. Another thing I liked bout it is that u can wtch it with everyone, ur frends, ur family, etc. These typa movies r very less nowadays. U rarely want to see any movie with family.

BRIEF STORY
Rang de Basanti is a story bout 5 frends who have passed out of Delhi university but still love to hang out anjoy themselves. Then sue enters thier life and she invites them to work in her Documentry film based on the diary of her gandfather
which told bout real instenses of the early revolutionaries’ lives like Bhagat singh etc.
Initially, they refuse to do so but DJ(who was impressed by sue) forces them to do so and they do it. Along the shooting, they carry on thier masti and enjoyment. Then ajay(madhavan) proposes sonia and they both get married. after that, the twist comes in the story, they come to know(via news) that ajay, who was a pilot in air force, has died in a plane crash trying to save another city. The newsmen say that this happened due fake parts but the defence minister says that ajay dint knew flying very well. But the five frends knew his talent and protested against the government. As a result, they got beaten up madly. So, taking inspiration from the documentry film, they desided to kill the defence minister and did so. To thier astonishment, the minister was now consodered a ’Shaheed’(martyr). So they decided to show themselves up at radio station and tell everybody y they killed the minister. But the swat considered them terrorists and they all get killed. But in the last scene, the surpize- Karan kills his father(anupam kher) as he was engaged in smuggling of aircraft parts.

2.) The very first scene of film- sue says in her english style- ’’Teri maa ki aankh’’
3.) Amir Khan- ’’O hamara ek pair past pe hai, aur ek pair future pe, isiliye to hum present pe mmot rahe hain’’
4.) Amir Khan- ’’ O jab hum marenge to gali mein koi kuta bhi nahi bhaunkega,
aur Ajay k marne par di jayegi 21 topon ki sallami’’
BEST SCENES
The whole movie is gud, I can only give a few comedy scenes
1.) When the DU students appear for the interview for the documentry film
2.) The first scene of Kiron Kher, conversation is gud and humorous
3.) The last scene when the ppl ask questions

ROCKING SONGS
1.) Rang De Basanti- Well this is an excellent song and A.R Rahman has given brillient punjabi music of which I dint expect him. so, hats off to Rahman. The second thing I liked bout this song is that they have shown a very gud aspect of sikh culture and not shown sikhs dumb. I liked it cuz I am a sikh(oops I revealed the secret).
2.) Paathshaala- Wat to say bout this song, a brilient creation with rocking music and my favourite quote- BE A REBEL.
3.) Roobaroo- I dont like this song very much but I like the gud guitar music given by Rahman.
I wud say that it is a very very x 10000000 gud movie so go watch it now.
