Well there are three strong holds in the movie, One is the character of Sue, (I do not the spelling) Secondly there is the Real Indian backdrop and then the youth of India. Thirdly there is the media
But the funny part of the story is that we need an Britisher again to instigate our own youth into the lively characters of Chandrashekar Azad and all.
Well the heros of the story always look back and see themselves as revolutionaries, whenever they are thinking of a cause. The character of Sue as the Britisher is good, and it is the positive Motivation by her to the youth here in India that leads to another revolution
Secondly the Indian backdrop, where the haves do not like the country, that much, They always are finding fault in India and say this country is so much bad, But the point that attracts is ’’ No One (nation) is perfect, you have to make it better’’ really has a provoking power.’’
The way the youth kill the Minister is really astounding, and it shows the flaws in the security system of the Indian Ministers. While so much is spent for that, The RAKSHA MANTRI himself is not Surakshit!
Well the youth in India in the film portray similarly to the ones in DIL CHAHTA HAI but as the basis of that story was love, the treatment was different but here as the story needs them to a little violent we see them as such.
The way the media focusses a fact is very much highlighted in the movie. While the youth kill the minister thinking that they are getting rid of a Traitor, what they hear is we have lost a valueless Diamond(Anmol Ratna) and a great Patriot, etc.
They follow the model of Bhagath Singh and Surrender themselves, but the machinery of politics at work is seen clearly as the police gets rid of this youth by killing them. This shows the method that the HRA had followed were really worthwhile
Some telephone calls that Karan answers are really interesting. The revealing of Karan Killing of his Father is also a surprise.
All and all a movie that is a must see to all the Indian youth and all those who are still young at their heart.
