CRITIQUE:
The movie is about how an enlish girl who comes to make a documentary about Bhagat singh kindles the patriotism and responsibilities in their minds. The director should be appereciated for taking up such a different concept . somehow was made to release it in republic day it might suit the theme. The movie starts off good and moves on and moves on and moves on and reaches the intermission. The movie felt cool but so far what I saw in the movie was nothing but legend of bhagat singh meets dil chahata hai . In the second half finally there was some stuff. The movie has its own share of pros & cons... First the U.S.Ps
Now on the flip side,
The movie reaches the main story which we expected to see only after 1.45 hrs
Havent we waited for the movie enough? should we wait for the stuff even after 1.30 hrs after the show has begun????. The IInd half has something with bagath I get it but was it necessary to show the singh activities 5th time in 3 years?.The climax is only ok the writers couldve thought of something else.
But on the whole the movie some how succeds due to the music & acting performances. I dont think there is lot to rave abt the movie for general public . The movie moves on good and will get great responses in multiplexes. The sub plots like the one between hindu & muslim. I also liked showing the characters the played in the documentary at the climax. The whole point ok flight crash wa somehow less convincing to start a rebel...... finally to say a decent movie.
