Rang De Basanti-A spontaneous movie

Generally when I hear that a movie is based on the same old patriotic theme I certainly avoid seeing it since the theme and the format would be the same old worn out one which we see time and again. However for one reason or the other I happened to land up for this movie and do not regret it in the least bit. The patriotic theme is a back drop and the story is at the same time contemporary. The movie is certainly well made and the acting of all actors is very spontaneous and natural. Surprisingly the foreign female who plays a major role against Aamir Khan is not at all uncomfortable in the role and fits in beautifully. All credits to the Director of the movie. The movie throws up very relevant questions which we all need to ask ourselves. Who or what will bring a change in the society? We all have to look at ourselves and the has to start with us. Freedom from the British rule. After 50 years you wonder if you are free at all. Our lives are now ruled by corruption, crime, greed and violence for which everyone of us is as much responsible as the so called politicians and criminals whom we blame for the state of affairs today. A thoroughly entertaining and exciting movie with good amount of comedy thrown in.
