Rang de basanti
When I heard this name I thought it would be same kind of patriotic movie which indian directors normally copies from old films. It is a patriotic movie but whatever I thought was wrong. It is a kind of new generation patriotic movie. I have seen so much patriotic movie but this one really touched my heart. The soul of this movie as I thought is to make think new generation about what is happening in India after 59 years of freedom.
I don’t want to take any politicians name as no politicians are white collar so no way to specify any ones name.
As far as director of rang de basanti is concerned, the way he depicted college life, I would love to join my college again as even I used to enjoy my college (who not).
But that college life which has been picturised in this film is not for fun. It gives you the glimpse of how you were there in your college life and how your life could be changed by some small incident or big incident (which made those college fellows of this film to change their life). So I only like to say that do whatever you want but just feel if something going wrong in your surrounding. If you don’t have power (power could be in terms of money, in terms of health etc.), then just feel it in your heart that whatever is happening is not good.
At last, one scene of this film which I will never forget was the one when soha and su were dreaming about there friends in the park (last scene of the film).
This scene made me cry as even I am missing my college friends. I felt that I am sitting there in place of soha and su and thinking about my friends as they will never come. Everybody is busy in their life but everybody is missing everyone
