I am not a Music critic but being a big fan of the movie’s music I just felt the need to appreciate it and let the world discover the good music of this movie. ... it deserves some acknowledgment....
anyway the title track ’Rang De basanti’ is undoubtedly the best. The lyrics are so meaningful they touch your heart. at least being being an indian it touched mine. Another College guys song singing about their carefree life... ’pathshala’ is also pretty good.... it just make you dance on hearing it. The song ’ Khalbali’ touches the essence of the movie. and when u see it in the movie u really appreciate directors intelligence... same is the case with another track ’ Rubaroo’... when the song starts it touches your heart. there is one romantic song that’s good too.
all in all I feel this is the best music by a.r rahman IMO.
